God's Little Acre

Stalls and Care

We are a self-care stable, where you take care of your own animals and their stalls. We do, however, provide feeding services (with owner-provided feed) for those who cannot do so on a twice-daily basis.

All stalls include hay storage, water troughs and feeders. Some also include mats, tack boxes, skylights and/or wind turbines. Some have their own hay sheds attached. All our stalls have runs so your animals can have shelter and sunshine too. The runs are lined in heavy-duty wire panels to allow horses to free themselves should they get cast. Stalls and runs vary in size.

We have several communal hay sheds for your hay and feed. We also have 16 lockable tack boxes for those who don't have one in their stall.

Boarders are provided with shavings upon move-in and also one drum of shavings per week, with rare exceptions. We also supply gravel free of charge for your stalls and runs when needed to fill holes.

We love our “equine tenants” and make sure they are well taken care of by their owners: well-fed twice per day, watered, and vetted when necessary, and shod when due. We post spring and fall vet visits so that you may sign up for de-worming, vaccinations and other vet services.

Riding Arena and Longe Rings

Our large outdoor riding arena is lined with heavy-duty panels, is lighted, and is filled with many tons of sand which is tilled frequently. Some barrels and PVC piping is available for arena work, and you are welcome to bring your own jumping equipment.

We also have two round rings. They offer sturdy, clean and safe longeing and working areas, or they can serve as a simple place to hold your horse or mule while you clean your stall.

Security

The main entry gate is an electric gate which provides additional security against loose animals escaping the property. We also have 4 security cameras covering most stalls.
